How to get to Rodney Street, Apartment, Liverpool
Arriving and making your Journey
Getting from John Lennon airport via public transport to the city centre and your Rodney Street Apartment hotel and Cinnamon Building Apartments are varied. Buses and trains operate on a frequent basis and one bus service runs right through day and night.
If you are staying by the River at Waterloo warehouse or Royal Quay at the Albert Dock. Moorfields train station in Liverpool city centre is closer. 10 mins walk or 5 minutes taxi to Royal Quay and 10 mins taxi to Waterloo warehouse.
Buses
A number of buses run from and to John Lennon airport from companies such as Arriva North West, Stagecoach Merseyside and Supertravel – the list of which follows.
Number 500.Direct Airport Link Bus
This bus operates from 06.45am – 0.50 am Monday – Sunday except for Christmas Eve, Christmas day and Boxing day. Ticket price is £2.60/4 Adults, £1/2 Children and £5/10 Families. Student discount: £1.40. This bus runs to and from Queens Square, which is the main terminus for all buses going in and out of the city.
Arriva Services 86A
Airport – Garston, Speke Rd – Liverpool South Parkway – Penny Lane – Paradise Street Interchange Liverpool City Centre. Price : £1.80 for Adults. £1 for Children. This bus directly passes through Hardman Street. This service directly passes Rodney Street and operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week except on Christmas Eve, Christmas day and Boxing day.

Trains
If you wish to travel from John Lennon Airport via train to get into Liverpool Central station. A bus service directly links to Liverpool Southpark way station and John Lennon Airport – the number 501. From there a number of trains can be used to get into the city centre stations Liverpool Central or Liverpool Lime Street – which is just a five minute walk away from your hotel in Rodney Street.
Northern trains operate a service through Liverpool Southpark way on the city line that travels to Manchester and Warrington. These run twice per hour from platform one and two at Lime Street station.
The most frequent trains run through the city centre departing from Hunts Cross and passing through Liverpool Central station heading to Ormskirk, Kirby or Southport. These trains operate to and from Hunts Cross train operates every 15-20 minutes -except on Sundays where the rail service runs every 30 minutes.
Underground trains to Liverpool Lime Street
Services from and to Liverpool Lime Street via underground stations after leaving an earlier train operate every 15 minutes from Moorfields station and Lime Street station underground. Trains heading to the Wirral via Birkenhead Hamilton Square and Chester often stop off at Lime Street underground station.
Taxi Services
Taxi services in the city are many from the Liverpool council black cabs. They can be hired from the Airport and through the heart of town. But the most popular private service is Delta Cabs and can be contacted via (0151) 924 7373.
By Car:
Traveling from the M62. Type in L1 9EH to your Sat Nav. There are 3 local NCP car parks, opposite Lime Street, 5 mins walk, all day parking, open air parking for £6 on Duke Street or Roscoe Street parallel to Rodney street. Also, street parking after 6pm is free.
