Liverpool Christmas Festival

A whole month of festivity leading up to Christmas offers a different experience to shopping and getting those last minute gifts for your loved ones in what is the biggest festival in the whole country!

Enjoy a continental experience of food as the continental markets pack out Queen’s Square and Lord Street with a range of marvelous delicious food and fine wines. Have fun skating near Liverpool One and Queen’s Square on the two ice rinks. Get that unique gift from one of the great shops in Liverpool One during this great period of festive fun in the city.

Last year Liverpool city council pulled out all the stops to make a unique shopping experience to get your into the spirit of Christmas. Offering live street music, mock pantomime plays and personal shoppers dressed in costumes. This festival proved to be a fun way to shop for those visiting the city centre and is estimated to have brought an extra 1 Million visitors to the city in the festivals duration.

The festival begins on November 20 and ends on December 21 and promises to repeat last years success.

The Liverpool Empire

Sam Kane’s successful pantomime Snow White makes its appearance at the Liverpool Empire on December 31.

It last appeared at Wycombe and featured former page 3 model Linda Lusardi and ‘Are you being served?’ actor John Inman with rave reviews from newspapers and websites.

A stunning voyage above Liverpool’s historic sky line, with iconic views of the world famous Liverpool Docks, river Mersey, World Heritage waterfront and the city’s museums, galleries and award-winning architecture.

The wheel has 42 capsules which seat up to eight people, is fully wheelchair accessible, and has the option of a VIP capsule with DVD, glass floor and champagne on ice. The trip lasts approximately 13 minutes, with a commentary pointing out local landmarks.
